Fornasetti
Fornasetti is a brand "that frees the inspiration from the limitations of the usual" a quote said by its founder Piero Fornasetti. He was an Italian painter, sculptor, decorator, and craftsman. His work was symbolized by a clever, surreal, and eccentric aesthetic. Fornasetti’s work was influenced by Greek, and Roman architecture, surrealism, and metaphysical art. His work signature was the face of Lina Cavalieri, an Opera singer. After Piero’s death in1988, his son Barnaba Fornasetti took the legacy of the family business. Fornasetti was always determined that "his eye traveled across time rather than being anchored in any specific era". Nowadays many of Piero’s original designs have been beautifully applied to accessories such as scarves, ties, wallpaper, home fragrance, and packaging goods.
