The ups and downs of the shape of the Wave vase are exuberant but calm like the waves that swell and stretch gently. The edge of the vase degrades like a throat and this shape is taken up in the transparent crystal with undulations that descend in five levels along the walls. Designed for Baccarat by Thomas Bastide, an ornamental Wave bowl with blue and green shades is also available. The crystal cuts inside the vase, an example of Baccarat's technical skill, create a magical optical effect, imperceptibly shading the transparent crystal from the base to the edge. Inserted into the internal motif, the enamel seems to magically come out from all sides. All the items in the Wave collection give a feeling of thundering energy to the room in which they are placed.
